Onthe December 10th's evening, The fourth Campus SPE PetroBowl Competition conductedtogether by the SPE student branch in China University of Petroleum(East China)and China and Foreign Association was held in foreign students cultivationbuilding as scheduled. Teacher Wang Mingbo, Zhang Liming and Wang Sen fromPetroleum Engineering School were invited as judges in the event, with sixgroups coming from Petroleum Engineering School including the K.S.B team led byFan Weipeng actively participated in the game.

The contest took a single knockout round and chose the top three teamsfrom the whole six groups to qualify for the final. In the game, all groupsshowed their solidarity and tried their best in the intense knockoutcompetition. Finally, the Big 4 team led by Qin Yu became the first group to gothrough to the final, and teams reaching the final also included Trigger teamled by Liu Qiang and Special Duty Unit team headed by Guan Xuhui.

Then , after a short rest, the three teamsin the final carried out the final competition in the combination in theone-versus-one form. With all group members gathering their strength and alljudges holding a responsible and impartial attitude, Big 4 team captained by QinYu got the first place, while Trigger team led by Liu Qiang ranked second andSpecial Duty Unit team headed by Guan Xuhui ranked the third place.

The Campus SPE PetroBowl Competition, which was oriented towards devoutbelief and innovation, fully took advantages of professional features ofpetroleum engineering to constantly enrich students' studying life and promotedthe communication and cooperation among them. What' more, it's reported thatteams or members who performed well in this contact will have an opportunity torepresent our university to attend the SPE worldwild petroleum knowledgecompetition.
